About Strong Hope

Strong Hope is a specialized mental health and substance abuse program for service members, veterans, and military families. Strong Hope provides evidence-based treatment for PTSD and focuses on areas of combat trauma, military sexual trauma, and childhood trauma. Strong Hope is a dual diagnosis center that tailors treatment in the areas of addiction, depression, anxiety, and other needs. Their gender-specific programming includes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), eye movement therapy (EMDR), somatic therapy, life skills, family counseling, and more. A typical day includes 3 to 4 trauma and skills groups per day, 2 expressive/recreational therapy groups per day, weekly visits to the National Ability Center, and weekly attendance at community based AA meetings. Clients can also enjoy yoga 5 times a week, 1-on-1 therapy twice a week, on-site physical therapy, a fully equipped gym, and adventure outings such as horseback riding, kayaking, and rock climbing.
