About Willingway

Willingway Treatment Center recently marked its 50th anniversary of continuous treatment. They specialize on substance misuse treatment and provide a broad range of services. Willingway offers medical detoxification, short and long term residential treatment, extended treatment, outpatient, a veterans program, a teen program for (ages 14-28), and a 5-day family program. The residential program at Willingway can last up to 6 weeks. Inpatient treatment offers individuals the best opportunity to learn new techniques for living without mood-altering medications. During their stay, clients have the opportunity to engage in a variety of therapies like individual counseling, family counseling, 12-Step facilitation, group therapy, and relapse prevention. Clients who choose extended services are housed in gender-specific residences located throughout Statesboro, Georgia. The homes provide a supportive, structured environment where individuals can build skills for living sober one day at a time. The family program is designed to integrate the clients’ families into the recovery process and allow them the opportunity to begin to heal. Willingway also provides aftercare services. After residential treatment, clients can partake in weekly support groups located in 13 towns throughout the southeast. All clients receive support and encouragement from people who have travelled the road to recovery before them or who have experience, strength, and hope to share with others.
The Willingway campus has 11 acres. The wooded grounds and on-site pond provide a tranquil setting for clients and their families. Willingway University's main campus is located on Lake Raymond. Clients can fish in their duck pond, which is stocked. The wooded lake is a wonderful location for peaceful walks. The facility has private rooms as well as large shared areas. Clients can also take advantage of the on-site pool and modern gym.
