Located in the mountainous countryside of Wellsville, Utah, Uinta Academy offers residential treatment to adolescents and young adults with trauma and mental health challenges. The comprehensive program includes evidence-based therapies, an academic program, recreation therapy, equine therapy, and a variety of arts programs for students to get involved in. The therapeutic program involves individual, group, and family therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychoeducation, and eye movement therapy (EMDR). The team at Uinta Academy is made up of licensed therapists, a psychiatrist, a registered nurse, and certified teachers.

Uinta Academy schedules regular adventure outings that include rafting, hiking, swimming, and ropes courses.
