Set on the south side of Salt Lake City, True North Recovery & Wellness Center (also spelled True North Recovery and Wellness Center) uses intensive outpatient therapy in individual and group settings with medication-assisted treatment for clients with opioid addiction.
True North chooses from one of these medications to help clients: methadone, buprenorphine (Suboxone or Subutex), or vivitrol.
True North is Justice-Reinvestment Initiative certified and works with courts to help clients stay out of prison and provide drug testing. They use a type of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) called moral reconation therapy (MRT) to support clients' recovery and prevent recidivism.
