The Maples provides care for teenage girls 13-18 who are struggling with mental health disorders, substance use disorders, or eating disorders. If a residential level of care is recommended by a medical or mental-health professional, The Maples offers free screenings to help determine treatment plans for prospective patients. The Maples uses an array of evidence-supported therapies to treat patients in their recommended 60-day program. The center holds that using these therapies can unlock personal motivation for change and empower patients to develop a more positive lifestyle. The Maples has on-site tutors to help with school and homework assignments. During down time, the girls are encouraged to develop friendships, apply their creativity through art or music and engage in outdoor physical activities.
