Located on Lake Tulloch in Northern California, The Lakes Treatment Center treats substance misuse and co-occurring disorders. Their mission is to offer clients struggling with these issues the opportunity to develop a strong foundation in recovery. The Lakes offers detox services and a residential program. They provide medication assisted treatment for clients whose conditions warrant it. Some of the evidence-based therapies The Lakes provides include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), emotion-focused therapy, rational emotive behavioral therapy (REBT), compassion-focused therapy, and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy. Each client has the choice to participate in weekly church services and bible study groups with volunteers from a local church.
