Surfside Recovery Services is a mission oriented, men’s only sober living home providing the structure and support needed while transitioning from treatment. Rooted in 12-Step philosophy, Surfside takes a 3-phase approach, helping men rebuild, rediscover, and recover a meaningful sober life. Each phase of the program involves participation in the 12-Step program, taking on household responsibilities , preparing to search for jobs, and community involvement. Men typically progress through the phases over the course of a 6-month period.
A core aspect of the Surfside Recovery Services program is participation in activities and adventure outings. They believe that participation in activities helps clients find the joy of life and discover new hobbies and interests. Activities include camping, hiking, surfing, longboarding, paddle boarding, yoga, and more. Their close proximity to the beach allows residents easy access to water-based activities. Surfside Recovery also owns a CrossFit gym, adventure park, and retreat house which residents have access to.
