Summit Behavioral Health is 1 of 6 outpatient treatments centers located across New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania. Their intensive outpatient program (IOP) offers a special holistic approach to addiction therapy that is tailored to each patient. Treatment involves 9 hours or less each week consisting of individual and group therapy. In addition to individual care, Summit has a12-Step program to offer support and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) that can address the root cause of the addiction.
A typical day includes daily activities with a sponsor or mentor, a meeting schedule, journaling, 12-Step programs, motivational enhancement, exercise, and accountability assessments.
