This residential treatment center is for teens ages 13 - 18 who struggle with anxiety, depression, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), adoption issues, defiance, or school failure. Located in the Utah mountains, the program blends therapy, education, and outdoor experiences. With over 30 years of experience, Stillwater helps teens build confidence, take responsibility, and develop tools for lifelong success.
The center uses a family systems model and offers a mix of evidence-based and holistic therapies, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), equine therapy, and experiential therapy. Teens take part in daily group sessions and weekly individual and family therapy. Treatment is tailored to each student’s needs, helping them grow emotionally, mentally, and socially while practicing real-life skills.
Students live in a warm, home-like setting with licensed staff. They share rooms, enjoy home-cooked meals, and participate in chores, games, and weekend outings. The campus includes access to Clementine Farms Ranch, gym time, a climbing wall, music therapy, and service projects. Travel to the center is supported, and the program encourages personal growth through trust, structure, and connection.
