Stages of Recovery is a men’s-only outpatient treatment facility specializing in the treatment of alcohol addiction and substance misuse disorder. They offer an intensive outpatient program (IOP), partial hospitalization program (PHP), outpatient counseling, and transitional housing. They combine evidence-based approaches with peer support and 12-Step programs to treat alcohol and substance misuse on the individual level. Stages of Recovery desires to treat the underlying condition using trauma-informed care. To encourage lasting sobriety, their Certified Clinical Trauma Professionals (CCTP) combine trauma therapies with healthy coping mechanisms and stabilization.
Located in Waco, Texas, Stages of Recovery offers clients the option to live in transitional housing while completing their outpatient treatment programs. They have 6 fully furnished two-bedroom apartments that provide clients a safe space to recover with peer-support. The Waco downtown area is easily accessible, and Baylor University is only a 5-minute drive away.
