About Severn Home Sober Living - Gender-Specific

Severn Home is a group of 5 structured sober living homes for men and women in recovery from substance use and addiction. With 4 homes for men, and 1 for women across the greater Baltimore area, they provide a soft place to land while transitioning from treatment into daily life. Severn Home knows the intensity and focus it takes to stay sober, so they offer a wealth of relaxation amenities and many creature comforts for residents to enjoy as they work towards maintaining a life of sobriety.
While Severn Home does not require participation in any outside therapeutic program, they encourage residents to join an outpatient program or attend therapy if possible. At the homes, they offer a structured, 5-stage program that teaches accountability and rewards with gradual independence. The program focuses on peer support and recovery meeting attendance. New residents at Severn Home work with a mentor, a peer who is further along in sobriety, for 2 weeks to help them feel a sense of belonging and acclimate to the community. Each house is overseen by a passionate and committed live-in paid house manager who is committed to guiding residents through their recovery journey. These managers provide constant support, to reinforce the structured and accountable environment.
Blending modern style and homey comfort, Severn Home is the ideal environment for anyone transitioning from addiction treatment to a life of recovery. Each home has bright open concept floor plans with both semi-private and private bedroom options, giving residents the option for comfort and personal space. It’s clear that each home has a welcoming atmosphere and a supportive community feel.
