Sacred Journey Recovery, with experiential wilderness therapy at it's core, helps men embrace authentic masculinity in recovery, emphasizing strength, resilience, and emotional openness. Through detox and outpatient programming, they help men build resilience and mental toughness that will aid them in long-term recovery.
At Sacred Journey Recovery, men engage in a range of experiential and evidence-based therapies to pursue personal growth and lasting recovery. Experiential therapies include wolf therapy, role-playing, art therapy, team building outdoor challenges, wilderness exploration, and nature-based initiatives. They also participate in indoor skydiving, beach excursions, camping, hiking, trail exploring, rock climbing, rappelling, and wilderness survival training, which combined help men disrupt harmful habits, develop resilience and discipline, enhance communication and trust, and reconnect to self. Throughout programming, men will learn important life skills, emotional regulation, and work through root causes of their addiction.
Sacred Journey Recovery helps cultivate a sense of purpose beyond addiction. They use purpose-driven planning to help men identify career paths, passions, and life goals. They offer 1-on-1 coaching, goal-setting workshops, and hands-on life skills, and help develop action plans for long-term success and fulfillment. Their aftercare and alumni support program also helps men stay connected through ongoing mentorship, group check-ins, and events.
