About Rocky Hill

In July 2016, Michelle Uetz and her husband welcomed her cousin's two girls into their home, adding to their three boys. Through this experience, they learned of the trauma the children had faced manifesting in various behaviors and mental health symptoms. As they navigated the children’s mental health system, they quickly recognized the lack of support available for parents. This realization led Michelle to pursue Parent Peer Specialist Training, and in July 2018, she was among the first group of parents in Wisconsin to complete this training. After completing the training she started Rocky Hill Parent Peer Specialists and later included Peer Specialists.
