About Ray Recovery

Ray Recovery strives to restore purpose and confidence in each client, giving them hope for a successful and healthy life, with treatment that works. Clients can participate in intensive outpatient programs (IOP) or a partial hospitalization program (PHP) that each includes one-on-one therapy, group counselling, educational classes on stress management and coping skills, and relapse prevention training. The PHP also includes medication management, meets longer and more often than an IOP, and connects clients to local sober living options.
From traditional talk therapy to music to massage, Ray Recovery has options to shine a light on the recovery journey. Their knowledgeable therapists work with each client to find the therapeutic approach that best addresses their unique treatment needs. Various evidence-based therapies used at Ray Recovery include acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). Their program provides integrated treatment for clients with co-occurring mental health disorders, addressing both addiction and mental health issues simultaneously. Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is also available to help clients manage withdrawal symptoms and cravings.
Ray Recovery’s aftercare program provides a strong foundation for sustained recovery. Their team works with each client on a customized aftercare plan. They offer support groups that foster connection and community with others in recovery. Individual counselling sessions offer a space to explore and resolve lingering challenges, while relapse prevention education equips clients with strategies to identify and manage triggers effectively. Additionally, the program provides practical support, such as assistance with securing stable housing and employment.
Ray Recovery offers a welcoming and supportive environment. The facility features comfortable spaces, including a front lounge with cozy seating, a patient dining room for breaks, and an inviting outdoor green space with a gazebo. Flooded with natural light, the center fosters a sense of calm. Meals are provided for day-treatment (PHP) clients, and transportation assistance is available on a case-by-case basis. The charming city of Hudson, known for its blend of history, culture, and outdoor recreation, adds to the appeal, with serene parks, a historic district, and sober attractions.
