Purpose House empowers their residents to build a solid foundation for a substance-free life. The dedicated staff at Purpose House commit to creating a safe and nurturing space where residents can thrive in their recovery journey and achieve long-term success.
At Purpose House, all residents are to actively participate in the community through employment, education, or community service. The importance of personal responsibility is also emphasized by assigning weekly household tasks, group and recovery meetings, and ensuring a well-maintained and welcoming home environment for everyone to take pride in. Purpose House is fully furnished and move-in ready, providing linens, a fully equipped kitchen with two refrigerators and cabinet space available, with cable, internet, and utilities included with the monthly rent. Residents are required to participate in sponsorship and attend a minimum of 4 off-site 12-Step meetings, as well as a weekly 12-Step meeting held on-site, and must be working, volunteering, or attending school within the first 2 weeks of residency. Purpose House administers frequent drug and alcohol screening tests to assure the environment remains a safe space for those in recovery. The communal living style allows for residents to help each other coordinate transportation to 12-Step meetings, outpatient services, or therapy or other doctors appointments, and is located on the bus route.
