About Ogden House

This sober living home in downtown LA provides a safe and structured environment that is necessary for men to overcome their addiction and regain a sense of self and purpose. The home is run by a man named Sonny Duron who has experience helping men with addictions as a case manager for 27 years prior to opening Ogden House. This sober living home is a culmination of his life’s work coming to understand what kinds of support and living environment people who are addicted to substances need.
The home is newly renovated, has a minimal design aesthetic and offers great sunlight. There is an on-site gym and a beautiful BBQ and outdoor lounge area. During the mens’ stay at Ogden House, they are drug tested weekly and have weekly meetings with a life coach. It is not necessary to have a car, as Ogden House provides transportation to and from 12 Step meetings or any other errands/activities. Sonny helps arrange any other necessary appointments for the men, such as medical appointments or therapy sessions. He also helps the men become integrated into the recovery community which is necessary for successful sobriety. Prosocial activities like hiking, cycling, archery, museums and sports are encouraged.
