MK Boys Academy nurtures mind, body, and spirit, combining therapy, academics, and healthy daily and weekly routines. They provide a range of evidence-based therapies, includingindividual, group, and family sessions. Their team uses methods like dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), tailored to each adolescent’s needs. They also partner with families, offering guidance and resources to foster healing and growth both at home and within the program.
Teen boys thrive in thesecure, welcoming homesurrounded by horses and hiking trails just outside Los Angeles. With 2-3 staff per teen and a maximum of six clients at a time, they receive attentive support in a safe environment where all staff pass background checks. Teens stay in private or shared en-suite bedrooms that are fully furnished with large beds, flat screen TVs, and walk-in closets. Teens enjoy a recreation room with billiards and a full arcade, as well as on-site gym with boxing and yoga instruction.
