This small, island-based treatment center aims to provide a holistic approach to addiction by treating all facets of a person through individual therapy, group therapy and holistic therapies in their residential programs. The center is located in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, providing a relaxing and stress-free environment for recovery among the tropical greenery and pristine beaches. Honu House uses alternative therapies to better understand their patients’ physical, mental and spiritual health. They use acupuncture, cold plunging, infrared saunas, IV therapy and meditation to help their clients deal with triggers and build better self-awareness. Patients can also engage in nature immersion experiences like surf therapy, waterfall swimming, deep sea fishing, snorkeling and other adventures.
