About this facility

Gentle Path at The Meadows provides a safe and confidential residential treatment program for men who are seeking help for sex addiction. They work closely with the client to help overcome co-occurring addictions that are a result of a sex addiction, as well. Gentle Path at The Meadows treats men with gaming and porn addictions, trauma, and substance use disorder. Personalized treatment is one of the main foundations for Gentle Path at The Meadows. The following tests are utilized to ensure each patient gets the regimen of care suited to their specific needs: sexual dependency inventory, post traumatic stress index, money and work adaptive style index, Minnesota multiphasic personality index, millon clinical multiaxial inventory, beck depression index, beck anxiety index, and T.O.V.A. test. A comprehensive assessment of each client is done at the time of admission including patient history, physical exam, complete psychiatric exam, complete nursing assessment, complete biopsychosocial assessment, and a complete trauma history. Gentle Path at The Meadows is an evidence-based treatment program that uses cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), equine therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), group and individual therapy sessions, and 12-Step facilitation. Gentle Path at The Meadows structures their recovery program in week intervals. They have a 6 week program that costs around $37,000. Gentle Path at The Meadows is accredited by the Joint Commission, and they accept most major insurances. Gentle Path at The Meadows is a gender-specific program for men, and the accommodations are shared bedrooms and bathrooms. They are located on 35 acres of peaceful and natural land, just north of the Sonoran Desert.
