“The program consists of 3 phases. Each phase corresponds to different activities, responsibilities, privileges, and objectives, and it has a typical duration of between one and two months depending on individual needs, circumstances, and progress with meeting treatment goals. Phase 1 emphasizes stabilization and includes recovery planning, development of early recovery skills, and community building. Phase 2 focuses on addressing the root cause of addiction and applying relapse prevention skills. During this phase, clients will be encouraged to start seeking employment, obtaining volunteer work, or enrolling in vocational training. Lastly, Phase 3 focuses on community reintegration and implementation of the skills learned during residential treatment.
