With over 25 years of expertise, Center for Discovery has been treating eating disorders using evidence-based therapies supported by research. In order to give customers access to nature and a tranquil setting for treatment, they launched their Granite Bay branch in 2016 on a rural property. The residential program treats female and non-binary clients ages 16-26 with primary eating disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders. Center for Discovery offers a variety of therapeutic modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure & response prevention (ERP), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and yoga.
Clients at Center for Discovery are given the chance to incorporate joyous movement into their lives while they are in treatment. They give patients various opportunities to participate in recreational activities and incorporate yoga into their therapeutic strategy.
