Casa Aviva, a women only residential program operated by the Latino Commission, is a bilingual addiction treatment program in San Francisco, California. They specialize in treating pregnant women and new mothers. For over 30 years, they have been providing holistic and trauma-informed care to individuals with substance use disorders. Clients of Casa Aviva receive individual and group therapy, life skills training, psychoeducation, and relapse prevention counseling to help each client achieve their personal recovery goals. Each client progresses through 4 phases of the program: the beginning, working as one, blooming transitioning, and movement with balance and integrity. Each phase is designed to help women focus on recovery, develop skills, and prepare for independence.
