About Burning Tree Ranch

Burning Tree Ranch is a long-term residential program that was founded in 1999. A family owned and operated campus in Texas, the facility specializes in chronic relapse using a 12-Step treatment approach, accountability and an alumni aftercare community.
Burning Tree Ranch has a four stage treatment process. The first stage consists of intensive residential treatment, ensuring that clients have 24/7 support to curb the risk of relapse. The second stage incorporates the intensive residential aspect of the first stage, but with greater flexibility and time for discovery. The third stage introduces sober living and aftercare programming as a step-down from more intensive support. Finally, the fourth stage consists of graduating from sober living and moving in with a peer while continuing the aftercare program. This gradual process aims to support clients while also allowing them to re-enter the world.

Private for-profit organization. Primary focus: substance use treatment, treatment for co-occurring substance use plus either serious mental health illness in adults/serious emotional disturbance in children.
