This addiction treatment center offers comprehensive care for patients with drug or alcohol addiction, mental health conditions or both. They specialize in providing treatment for people with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and veterans or military members. The clinical team of therapists and physicians are familiar with treating military members and often treat PTSD, traumatic brain injuries, and military-specific trauma. The services offered at this facility are detox, residential treatment, intensive outpatient program (IOP) and sober living. One of the goals of Behavioral Health Programs is to provide a comfortable home-like setting for their patients to recover in. They designed their facility to move away from the traditional sterile-like feeling that many recovery centers can feel like and more towards a warm and welcoming environment.
Patients can begin with detox if the medical team deems it is necessary. Following detox, patients usually attend residential treatment for around 6 weeks where they attend daily therapy sessions and receive medical care, which could include medication-assisted treatment (MAT). During residential treatment and the IOP, patients learn new coping skills, develop a self-care plan, engage in physical fitness and healthy meals, learn conflict resolution and also work to get to the root of their trauma and addictions. If patients choose to participate in the IOP, Behavioral Health Programs offer sober living to help further encourage recovery.
