In addition, the Barrington House provides mentors that help clients with weekly schedules, goal setting exercises, and budgeting workshops. Therapies can include contingency management (CM), motivational enhancement therapy (MET), CBT, and DBT. The staff is always available and will provide transportation to and from the 12-Step meetings and outpatient treatment programs. They can also recommend meetings that are best suited for each client, understanding that every person’s substance abuse treatment plan is highly individual.
