Riviera Recovery believes the best way for all of its clients to attain long-term recovery is to create independence with a structured environment around them. At the Barrington House, clients can build a framework of new beliefs, patterns, and behaviors that will enable them to develop a fulfilling life and newfound passions without addiction. In addition, the Barrington House provides mentors that help clients with weekly schedules, goal setting exercises, and budgeting workshops. Therapies can include contingency management (CM), motivational enhancement therapy (MET), CBT, and DBT. The staff is always available and will provide transportation to and from the 12-Step meetings and outpatient treatment programs. They can also recommend meetings that are best suited for each client, understanding that every person’s substance abuse treatment plan is highly individual.

Clients can enjoy weekly social meetings that include days spent on the beach, surfing, paddle boarding, and practicing yoga.
