About Baja Ibogaine Center

Baja Ibogaine Center is focused on providing high-quality Ibogaine treatment in a safe and comfortable environment. The Baja Ibogaine staff has over 20 years of combined experience safely and effectively administering Ibogaine. Dr. Hector Velasquez, MD, a qualified MD in Trauma & Anesthesiology, is the treatment coordinator of the Baja Ibogaine Center. His choice to devote his full time to helping individuals reclaim their rewarding lives through the administration of Ibogaine was greatly influenced by his own experience with the drug addiction. Thus he set out to create one of the most well-rounded Ibogaine treatment centers near the beaches of Rosarito, Mexico. The 7-day Ibogaine treatment includes a full medical examination, psychological counseling, healthy nutritious meals, and activities such as massage, Reiki, and yoga. In addition to ibogaine treatment, Baja also offers a 1 to 2 week ketamine infusion program to assist in depression, post traumatic stress (PTSD), trauma, and other mental health concerns.
The spacious 4,500 square foot facility is equipped with private security, on-site tennis courts, a swimming pool, and a private beach. Each patient will have a separate bedroom suite with access to living spaces and cooking facilities, as well as a private bathroom. Patients are also free to bring their own portable electronics, such as computers and cell phones. A personal chef is on duty to prepare nutritious healthy meals that aid in detoxification and recovery and can accommodate any special dietary restrictions. In addition to private suites and chef-prepared meals, patients will have access to an activities director whose objective it is to arrange and coordinate programs like Reiki, Yoga, and more for each patient.
It has been well documented that addiction does not just affect the user, it is in fact a family disease. Unique to The Baja Ibogaine treatment center, they invite clients’ families to stay in the local vicinity of Baja Retreat, and they invite them in to help them understand addiction in more detail. By enhancing their understanding, they will be better equipped to support their loved ones when they return home.
