About Associated Physicians

Based out of the west side of Madison, Associated Physicians is a physician-owned clinic that serves the community with mental health, substance use, OB/GYN, pediatrics, physical therapy, podiatry, family medicine, and other medical needs. Associated Physicians' goal is to provide a care experience built around the doctor-client relationships, not administrative bureaucracy.
Their behavioral health department includes a licensed clinical social worker and a medical doctor who provide psychotherapy, psychiatric care, and goal setting. They work with other departments at their clinic and the nearby UnityPoint Health hospital system to address clients' care in a comprehensive manner.
Associated Physicians uses UnityPoint's setup of Epic to track clients care during and after treatment. Clients can use Epic's MyChart app on their phones or online to access their care notes during and after care.
Note: UnityPoint sometimes refers to MyChart as MyUnityPoint.
Associated Physicians is open on weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon. In an emergency, a triage nurse can connect patients with care after their regular hours. Their hours may be reduced on holidays.
Associated Physicians asks client to arrive 15 minutes early to ensure a smooth check-in. They charge $25 cash for no-shows .and cancellations within 24 hours of an appointment.
