AKUA Mind and Body offers unique treatment programs that incorporates both Western evidence-based approaches and Eastern holistic medicine practices in gender-specific housing. At their Ralcam Place women's location, they offer detox and residential treatment. Detox typically takes 3-7 days and residential treatment is typically 30-90 days.During treatment, clients participate in both group and individual therapies. Therapies can include mindfulness, meditation, life skills, yoga, music therapy, sound therapy, Tai Chi, relapse prevention, and nutrition. Aftercare is extremely important to AKUA, and they offer an aftercare alumni program. Clients receive consistent aftercare that can include weekly alumni meetings, social events, and access to an alumni app.
The AKUA women's Orange County location offers home-like accommodations with a fenced in outdoor area, on-site gym, and on-site laundry. Clients enjoy nutritious meals prepared by local chefs, supporting holistic care. All residents have access to transportation services and 24/7 support during their stay.
