About Absolute Control Counseling Center

Absolute Control Counseling Center has provided a personally tailored continuum of addiction treatment in the Los Angeles area for more than 20 years through services including detox, residential, and outpatient care in addition to sober living. Their programs are ideal for adults who are experiencing alcohol or substance use disorders, or addiction with co-occurring mental health concerns. Their individualized treatment approach is deeply based in the principles of 12 Step recovery, offering faith-based care with a customized blend of evidence-based and holistic therapeutic methods.
Experienced and compassionate professionals and clinicians conduct a thorough initial assessment, determining the appropriate level of care by assessing the severity of the substance misuse, underlying mental health conditions, and individual treatment needs and goals. Absolute offers a medically supervised detox as part of their residential treatment, providing medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to ease the cravings and symptoms associated with withdrawal. Their residential programs provide structure and support in a safe and comfortable environment that offers peer connection, individualized therapeutic support, and community and faith-based recovery programs. Clients have the ability to holistically heal by addressing mental and physical withdrawal symptoms while isolated from triggers and enabling behaviors.
Additionally, clients can step down once ready for a lower level of care, continuing their individualized treatment plan on a long-term, outpatient basis through a blend of 1-on-1 and group therapy. Their outpatient programs focus on maintaining and applying newly learned life and coping skills as clients transition into daily life. Absolute Control also provides a safe and controlled sober living environment, available for clients in need of substance-free and stable housing.
Absolute Control Transitional Counseling Center also accepts individuals for their outpatient programs who do not need a more intensive level of care, as well as gender-specific groups, and intervention services for families with loved ones experiencing addiction. They are a Joint Commission accredited facility, and accept most major insurance providers.
